In MAX, the Flock was flown to Hawaii via a private jet from Nino Pierpont as part of their mission to rescue Dr. Martinez.
They'd arrived at sunset, and Max had said that "it had looked like a movie set, with fake molded plastic islands set into impossibly beautiful blue water." They'd been "immediately greeted by soft, gentle breezes, unusual floral scents, palm trees with actual coconuts on them, and this pit bull of a woman (Lieutenant Morgan) who was about to make [Max] go seriously ballistic."
